Bryan Lord is Founder and Managing Member of New Venture Advisors LLC, a strategy and business services firm focused on intellectual property and high technology ventures in New Hampshire. He also serves in a long term client engagement as Sr. Vice President at Epicenter IP Group in Silicon Valley.
Bryan also manages the investment portfolio for Orthopedic Venture Partners and is a partner in Day2 Ventures, an early stage technology investment group.
Prior to founding NVA, Bryan worked in a variety of senior technology commercialization and licensing roles with DEKA Research & Development Corp., the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory and MIT spin-out, AmberWave Systems Corp. While at AmberWave, Bryan co-founded the Innovation Alliance. Prior to joining AmberWave, Bryan was a corporate attorney at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP in Boston.
Bryan earned his M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, J.D. from Notre Dame Law School in South Bend, Indiana, and B.A. from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and is recognized by Intellectual Asset Magazine as on of the world’s 300 leading patent strategists.
