Linda was raised in southern New Hampshire. She received a BS in Business Administration from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics, at the University of New Hampshire. Her studies included a Semester at Sea her senior year, traveling the world studying international business and marketing. After college she accepted a position as an administrator for Sander’s Associates (presently BAE Systems) in Manchester.
Linda met her husband Rich at Sanders and have been married for 33 years. They have four children, 3 granddaughters and two dogs and live in Meredith, NH. In 1996, Linda and Rich purchased Capital City Motors, which became Lovering Volvo- Isuzu in Concord, (Presently Lovering Volvo and Mitsubishi). In 1998 they opened Lovering Volvo of Nashua and in 2004, built Lovering Volvo of Meredith to serve their northern customers.
Linda has been very active with the local and state community, serving on a variety of nonprofit boards to include: CASA of NH, The Better Business Bureau of NH, The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua and The Nashua Crime Line. Past board member of The Humane Society for Greater Nashua, Partnership for a Drug Free NH, NHADA Member Benefits Trust and past president and board member of the Front Door Agency (formerly the Nashua Pastoral Care Center).
“I support CASA because it makes a real difference in the lives of our states most vulnerable children. It has outstanding leadership, dedicated staff and volunteers,” Linda says. “Children are our future and they need our protection.”
Linda is a previous member of the Hollis-Brookline Rotary Club and is a corporator for NH Mutual Bancorp.
