Michael Burns

Michael Burns is a Senior Benefits Consultant with CGI Business Solutions. As a licensed Insurance Producer, he provides employers with comprehensive strategies, guidance and solutions to successfully manage their employee benefit insurance programs. Following his graduation from nursing school in the 90s, Michael provided clinical care to adults and children in a variety of settings. He was responsible for launching Harvard Pilgrim’s Asthma Management program into northern New England and held management positions overseeing the Referral & Authorization, Member and Clinical Appeal Department’s for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.

Prior to joining CGI, Michael spent 18 years as a New Business Sales Executive, representing insurance carriers such as Anthem BCBS, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan to the commercial group insurance market.

“I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors for NH CASA. The work done by the CASA staff and volunteers to ensure that our most vulnerable children in NH are protected and have a voice is truly admirable,” Michael says.

Michael lives in Hollis with his wife, Ashlyn, and their six children.
