Malcolm Perry
Malcolm Perry is the Chief Executive Officer for Derry Medical Center, PA., the largest independent physician owned practice in the state of New Hampshire. Mr. Perry brings a record of exceptional leadership and strategic vision in the healthcare arena. Beginning his professional career in Long Term Care, Mr. Perry has a passion for helping those that are most in need, including vulnerable populations such as the elderly and working to improve access to health care for underserved communities.
A New Hampshire native, Mr. Perry was born in Rochester, NH and attended both Boston University and the University of New Hampshire. From 1987 to 2004, Mr. Perry was a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and worked in New Hampshire at several Long-Term Care facilities before planning and opening 22 Hospital-Based Skilled Units in eastern Massachusetts.
Mr. Perry changed his professional path in 2005 when he joined Elliot Health Systems in Manchester, NH as Director for Senior Health Services where he grew a Geriatric outpatient practice and embedded Geriatricians in 12 local Nursing Home to improve the availability and access to physician services for long term care residents. During his long tenure at Elliot Health System, Mr. Perry expanded his responsibilities to include Hospitalists Services and Primary Care Services, as well as various operational and strategic planning committees.
Mr. Perry joined Derry Medical Center, PA (aka DMC Primary Care) in 2017 as Chief Operating Officer. Over the past 7 years, under his leadership DMC has doubled in size to 75 providers serving 90,000 patients in 8 communities. In 2024, Mr. Perry was chosen by the Shareholders of DMC to replace the retiring CEO.
